As every year on the 5th of January the dreams of all kids become true.
The Three Kings will bring the presents they have been waiting for. In my opinion, it is fantastic to attend the Three King parade and see all children faces lit up with magic, astonishment and even fear but in all ways beautiful. The Three Kings parades will take place in every village or town on the Costa Blanca. In Santa Pola, the Three Kings parade will take place on the 5th at 19:00h. Come and enjoy the magic and happiness with the little ones. If you want to enjoy one of the best parades for the Three Kings you have to go to Alcoy, for many people is simply “The Best”.
I hope you have enjoyed, at least, one of the many cribs on display. In Santa Pola we have a beautiful one at the Castle. There is also a very nice display in Torrevieja as well as Diputación building in Alicante.
In Cañada next to Villena, they make a performance of the birth and the arrival
of the Three Kings who bring presents to Jesus. The performance is carried out by amateurs and takes place in the theatre. This event is declared of National Tourist Interest.
Once again I would like to remind you about the Santa Pola International Half Marathon which will take place on Sunday 19th at 10:30 a.m. Do not miss this sport event! Come and enjoy the unique atmosphere! The day before, on Saturday afternoon 5p.m. you can also enjoy the fun race for children, called Mini-Marathon.
To finish off, I would like to remind you that next month the parades of Moors and Christians will be held in Bocairente and Sax. In February, the spectacular almond blossom takes place inland in Costa Blanca in Seta Valley, covering villages like: Facheca, Famorca, Vall d’Ebo which are well worth visiting.
