Hi everybody,
On January the 5th the magic parade for the Three Kings will be held in every village or Town on the Costa Blanca. In Santa Pola, the parade will take place on the 5th at 19:00h. Come and enjoy the magic and happiness with the little ones, it’s nice to see all kids with smiles on their faces.
If you want to enjoy one of the best parades for the Three Kings you have to go to Alcoy, for many people it is simply “magical”.
I hope you have enjoyed, at least, one of the many cribs on display. In Santa Pola we have a beautiful one at the Castle. There is a also a very nice display in Torrevieja as well as in Diputación building in Alicante.
In Cañada next to Villena, they make a great performance of the birth and the arrival of the Three Kings who bring presents to Jesus. The performance is carried out by amateurs and takes place in the theatre. This event is declared of National Tourist Interest.
Once again I would like to remind you about the Santa Pola International Half Marathon. It will take place on Sunday 20th at 10:30 a.m.
Do not miss this sport event! Come and enjoy the unique atmosphere!
The day before, on Saturday afternoon you can also enjoy the fun race for children, called Mini-Marathon.
To finish off, I would like to mention that next month the spectacular almond blossom takes place in la Seta Valley, covering villages like: Facheca, Famorca, Vall d’Ebo etc.
Last year I spent a day out with my family and I was really impressed by the sheer beauty of the blossom.
Also, in the beginning of February more parades will take place in Bocairente and Sax.
