Hi everybody, For the first time in Santa Pola the Town Hall
For the first time in Santa Pola the Town Hall organizes the fair Fire, Fiesta and Fair, “Foc, festa y fira” with plenty of activities, concerts etc, from 31st to 2nd at the Santa Pola’s Castle. In this month there are plenty of celebrations, wherever you go from 9th to 16st of you can attend to Holy Week processions. Sunday the 9th is Palm Sunday procession, if you want to see the best one declared of International Tourism Interest, is the one held in Elche. If you can’t come to see every procession in Santa Pola and you have to choose one, I recommend seeing the biggest that takes place on Friday the 14th. In the Fortress-Castle there from 12th to 16th a Medieval Market will be held. April is the month for the magnificent parade of Moor and Christians in Alcoy, in my opinion, it is simply “spectacular”, declared of international tourist, the only trouble is that takes the whole day, the main parade is held on the 22nd. More parades of Moors and Christians held this month in: San Vicente del Raspeig, Busot, Banyeres, also very good, in Onil, Granja Rocamora. In Alicante on the 27th takes place the “Romeria de la Santa Faz”, if you want to discover what a popular pilgrimage in Spain – go and join it, I must warn you that there will be thousands of people.
