The City Council meets with two entrepreneurs who present their coworking spaces in the town

The Santa Pola City Council held a meeting with Diana Carrasco and Mª Angeles Cáceres, local female entrepreneurs, who have just opened two Coworking spaces, one located in downtown Santa Pola and the other in Gran Alacant. The meeting was attended by the Mayoress Loreto Serrano, the Councilor for Commerce Nely Baile, the Councilor for Urbanism and Industry Trini Ortiz and the technician Llanos Córcoles, head of the Emprende Santa Pola Service.
The two entrepreneurs, who have been advised by the Emprende Santa Pola service, have presented their projects, explaining that coworking spaces are shared offices in which self-employed professionals, teleworkers and entrepreneurs from different sectors share the same office space without losing their independence and at a lower cost than having their own office. They tell us that working in a coworking space is like working in a company, but instead of having colleagues in different departments, you are surrounded by other professionals.
The spaces are equipped with common areas, and highlight the business opportunities and the synergies that are generated by working in a coworking environment, in addition to saving costs. For this they organise activities, breakfasts, networking, etc., where collaborations are created. In addition, they also rent spaces, even by the hour, so that companies have their own office, where they can hold meetings, etc.
Diana Carrasco’s SIMPLE SOCIAL HUB coworking space and professional community is located at Avenida Escandinavia, 35, Gran Alacant. They are happy to welcome any interested person to visit them and discuss the different options available.
Loreto Serrano has personally congratulated them for these two projects and has highlighted the importance of having spaces of this type in our town, where entrepreneurial ecosystems and the creation of transformative and innovative professional communities are created. They have agreed to visit the two spaces and contemplate the possibility of signing a possible public-private agreement that allows the collaboration of the Entrepreneurs department of the City Council and these two spaces.
