Saturday 12th March, MonteMar Bowls Club held our Internal Competitions Finals, In Fantastic Weather, we saw the Men’s and Ladies Singles Finals, both matches were of the highest quality between Mens, Ronnie Cairns v John Albutt, With Ronnie Cairns Winning 21-18. (see pic)

Both Ronnie and Pauline now qualify for the Champion of Champions Competition played in April.
All the Leagues have now Finished, Pride of place must go to the Fed 4s Team for Winning their Division 3 League and gaining promotion to the 2nd Division.
The Monday and Friday MonteMar Matadors after a very hard Season managed to stay in the A Division in both.
MonteMar Toreadors stay where they started Monday in B Division and Fridays in C Division.
The Winter League side still have another 6 Matches to play and are about half way.
The last Friday in the Month we hold our Dinner Dance at the El Rincon Restaurant. It is a very good evening and a chance for all our Members to get together, The Food and Entertainment is First Class and everyone has a very good evening.
If you fancy taking up a new sport, why not give Bowls a go, a chance to meet other people, make new friends and get fit at the same time, Plus tuition, Shoes and Woods are available free of charge, Come along and give it a try.
