As mentioned in previous articles the course at El Plantio was closed from 19 to 30 August and so the Society had a 2 week break as well. In the couple of weeks before the break the course was extremely quiet and golfers who joined us in that period enjoyed “millionaires golf” with no delays in front of us and no pressure from behind.
When you read this article we shall be back golfing as normal, except that we shall be entering the high season. This will be reflected in the pricing charged by the course but, of course, playing with the Society golfers will recive a substantial discount to the “off the street” price.
As always new members and/or guests are always welcome, whether a full time resident, someone with your own holiday home for regular visits throughout the year or a holiday maker in the region. We would love to see you.
