GASP Theatre Group has been putting on plays and comedy evenings for quite a few years now, and the original team are beginning to get a bit old! We really need some new blood, especially some younger people, as its quite difficult acting early 20s when you are in your late 60s! Anyone who is interested – you don’t have to be a permanent resident in the area. Some of us are “part-timers”, staying in GA for 2-3 months at a time, and we usually manage to fit productions around suitable dates. You don’t have to have had any previous acting or theatre experience, and if you don’t fancy acting, we always need backstage help. You won’t be asked to sing or dance, as we prefer to do comedy plays and sketches. We are presently having a well-earned summer break, but meetings will start up again in September.
