In Gran Alacant Family doctors 24h, we have adequate areas to maintain the safety distance. Consultations are being offered with more time between patient and patient to decrease the flow of people within the clinic and minimize the chances of exposure.

Our test is 100% developed and manufactured in Switzerland.

This test will detect the presence of the virus in asymptomatic patients in a quite easy and comfortable way for the patient and the professional. This offers many advantages due to the lack of diagnosis that we are currently experiencing and the need for detection of virus infection.

Effectively detects Antibodies against the virus COVID-19 (Sars-CoV-2) IgG / IgM. The rapid test stops the detection of antibodies against COVID-19 (Sars-CoV-2) IgG / IgM. It can be used with a simple human blood, serum or plasma sample. It allows to obtain effective results in just 10 minutes.
If the patient has had contact with the virus and has been infected with COVID-19, our body will have created specific antibodies (IgG or IgM) to fight the disease and these will be present in the blood.

Why are IgG and IgM antibodies measured?
Immunoglobulins G and M are antibodies that are part of the immune response against coronavirus. IgM antibody is the first antibody to appear in humoral immunity, and is a sign of recent infection.

Covid 19 IgM antibody is produced a few days after infection, and can generally be detected within a week, although there are differences between individuals. The negative result indicates that there is no infection or that you are in a very early stage or in the recovery phase.

The IgG antibody appears later than the IgM antibody, and peaks in about four weeks. IgG will appear in the body as a response of the immune system to infection at approximately 2-4 weeks, they are maintained over time, slowly disappearing and their concentration is relatively high. Detection of the COVID-19 IgG antibody has the advantages of: a sensitivity of 100%, a specificity of 90.5%, which ensures the identification of previous virus infection.
