Cats n Dogs Aid Association, formed in 2012, are a committee based organization with seven people serving on the Committee. Four of us previously working with another Animal Rescue for between five and seven years. We also have a further twenty volunteers who help us in various ways. We are registered in Rojales, our registration number is G54658810.

We are a small Non Profit Making organization set up primarily to operate a Trap Neuter and Return Program for the ever increasing feral cat population, and to rescue and re-home abandoned and abused dogs.

The TNR program for the feral cats helps to stabilize and maintain healthy cat colonies and provides the best
life possible for them. This method has been proven to be the most successful method of stabilizing and maintaining healthy feral cat colonies with the least possible cost to local governments and residents, while providing the best life for the animals themselves.
It helps to keep the feral cat population at Manageable levels and eliminates annoying behaviour associated with mating. So far we have, with the help of our vets of course neutered over 200 cats to date. We also take in many abandoned kittens, sometimes families of kittens, where they are abandoned by their Mother, for whatever reason they need our help to survive. Due to this situation we always have kittens available, looking for permanent homes

We have helped over 50 dogs, bringing some back to health, when necessary and then finding them new permanent homes. We do home checks on all the new homes and where possible stay in touch, always at the end of the phone, offering support if needed. We have at the moment four dogs looking for a permanent home. These dogs are here on our premises and can be viewed at any time by arrangement.

All our animals at the sanctuary, kittens and dogs, are looked after and cared for by Heidi and Alan, and a
phone call to either one of them will secure an appointment. Contact number is 685564131

We also have another facility in Dolores, where we have twelve older cats, which are still looking for homes.
We have had them since they were kittens, but unfortunately they are yet to be adopted. These cats are also available to be viewed.

Altogether we are feeding and maintaining over sixty cats, so we are always in need of Blankets, Cat Biscuits,
Kitten toys etc.

We have two shops, one in Quesada and on in Almoradi which help to fund our work and we are very grateful to receive any donation of clothes bric a brac or items of furniture to sell in our shops.

We would like to thank all the people who support us, both in the shops and with the animals We are eternally
grateful to you all. Without you we could not help these animals. If you would like to know more, or you would like to volunteer please visit the web site at or ring 616655789.
