ABOUT COSTA BLANCA EIENDOM

CBE was founded in 2021 by Anders Langli and Rudi Fremstad, both of whom already had extensive experience in real estate in Costa Blanca. The start-up consisted of an office in the centre of Alicante and another office in Halden in Norway. Anders, who has been a permanent resident in Spain for around 15 years, was responsible for the office in Alicante, while Rudi ran the office in Halden. Costa Blanca Eiendom was an immediate success and has experienced explosive growth. Today, Costa Blanca Eiendom has offices in Alicante, Gran Alacant, Halden and Jessheim, and office number 5 will open in Playa Flamenca early this summer. Costa Blanca Eiendom is a Norwegian-owned company, but has chosen to focus on the whole of Europe as its catchment area. They currently have around 20 full- time employees, who speak a total of 10 languages Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, German, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, French and Spanish.

WHAT DO YOU SPECIALISE IN

We specialise in the sale of properties in Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. We work in the area from Valencia in the north to Almeria in the south. We focus on personalised customer service and close follow-up with our clients. We understand how important it is to be able to communicate in your native language, and we endeavour to have agents with great language skills. The competition is tough, and there are lots of great agencies out there. We try to stand out, by covering a very big area, and offering our clients viewing trips where we cover the hotel expenses and transport, while we assist the clients 3 or more days driving around looking at properties and areas. We also provide assistance regarding bank services and the legal process of buying or selling a property in Costa Blanca. We follow the clients from the beginning of the journey to the finalisation and beyond. Not to mention the fact that we obtain a portfolio of over a 1000 properties all over Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. In addition, we can also help with refurbishments through another company we are closely linked to.

They offer big or small renovation projects for those who choose to buy a resale and want to make it more personalised to their taste and needs. To put it in easy terms we provide all the services a buyer or seller could ever need, and if we do not have the services needed we have close connections with many companies and will always strive to find the best solution or service for our client.

WHAT ARE YOUR ROLES

Christoffer is mostly working with our Scandinavian market along with English speaking countries. His role is to help every buyer and seller to get the best service and deal possible. He will also be Office Manager for the new office in Playa Flamenca.

Michel’s role is focusing mostly on the Dutch, Belgium and German market. He is also in charge of maintaining the website and keeping us up to date with all property portals and news within IT.

Nora is the Office Manager of our GA office. She is making sure everything goes smoothly here as well as focusing on the Scandinavian market. She is also doing social media marketing targeting the Norwegian market.

WHY GRAN ALACANT

As the demand for properties in Gran Alacant was getting higher, we saw the need for being close to where our customers are and want to buy. Gran Alacant is a great area, and has a well-established Norwegian community, which is something our clients appreciate highly. At the same time this is a strategically good location, having the airport nearby and with easy access to both the North and the South of Costa Blanca.

WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE

Michel has seven years of experience within the real estate business in Spain, and before that he was working within IT in the Netherlands.

Christoffer has now been working as a real estate agent in Spain for two years. Before moving to Alicante, he was an Assistant Department Manager within a retail chain in Norway.

Nora was previously a Project Co-ordinator and kitchen designer in Norway.

BEST PART OF THE JOB

The best part about this job is to meet a lot of interesting people and the joy of building relationships and helping our clients find their right home. That is definitely the greatest motivator. Another great aspect of our job is the diversity in our tasks and that every day is different. The market is always moving, with new projects being launched all the time. This means we will always have the opportunity to learn and grow.

CHALLENGING PART OF THE JOB

The most challenging is to find out exactly what a client is looking for, and to make sure they get the best deal possible. Sometimes it might take several days or even several viewing trips to find the right property. Another challenging thing is to find the location of the properties. There can be several different addresses registered at the same location or the direction on the digital map is incorrect. That can lead to unexpected adventures from time to time.
