ASPETGA’s “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” event

Raised Nearly 400 euros for their pet food bank!

Thank you to all of our friends, neighbours, and donors who  helped ASPETGA with our Santa Claus meet and greet event at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub.

We’ve raised almost 400 euros thanks to you and your generosity! Economic pressure is the leading cause of pet abandonment. The loss of a job or home often leads to people surrendering a beloved pet to the shelter, a heartbreaking situation. The unlucky ones are simply dumped on the streets. These funds will allow us to help more needy families in Santa Pola and Gran Alacant and to help keep those families together.

A big thank you to our hosts at Molly Malone’s for letting us take over their pub for the afternoon and to our sponsors Gran Alacant Properties and Astro Networks Gran Alacant TV for their time and effort to organise the event.

We also want to thank the local businesses who generously donated prizes

to the raffle: La Galguita Amelie, CCV Amoros, Cueva del Arte, El Cookie, Gus Peluquero Canino, Laico, MAVI JJ, Mundo Animal, Nakama, Retratos Natalia,

Rio Seco Naranjas Selectas & Vida Animal

This Christmas, don’t forget to support your local businesses!

Thanks to Mayor Loreto Serrano for stopping by to say hello and take a

selfie with Santa Claus and to Town Councilor Oscar Valenzuela, councilor for

Gran Alacant, who joined us along with his family and their lovely pup.

Thank you for your support!

Until next year! Santa reminds you to avoid the naughty list

and to stay on the nice list!

Happy New Year to all!
