Hello everybody,
June is the month for the celebration of one of the biggest fiestas in Spain “ Bonfires of St. John” when you can enjoy so many things! For example, bull fighting from the 21st to 29th, celebrations in the streets from the 20th to 24th and burning of the beautiful cartoon monuments on the night of the 24th. After the burning of the monuments, a fantastic international fireworks contest will be held the for the next 5 days!
Also all these municipalities that celebrate their main fiestas, Moors and Christians in: Benjuzar 19th to 23rd, Teulada-Moraira, Pego 27th to 30th, Agost 29th , Benissa 28th to 1st July.
On the night of the 23rd, some fires will be lit on the beach to celebrate ancestral rituals and traditions.
From 7th to 9th the international karate competition will be held at the Castle.
From 21st to 23rd will be held the VIII International handball Tournement, on the football field “Manolo Macia”.
On the 22nd a concert in honour of the Lady of Rosario will be held, and on the 23rd“La Romeria” The “Cape Pilgrimage” to Our Lady of Rosario. The Lady is moved from town to her chapel situated in the Cape of Santa Pola, of course, you are welcome to come and join us.
On the 7th of July the International open Water swimming competition will be held from Tabarca to Santa Pola. Come and support this fantastic sporting event.
