We are still enjoying good weather, so time to go out and enjoy the fiestas in the Costa Blanca. This month there are more parades of Moors and Christians, Crevillent 1st to 4th of October, Rafal, Planes, Callosa d’en Sarria 11th to 14th, Campello 11th to 15th and Calpe on the 19th to 22nd of October.
In the first week of October you can enjoy fantastic fiestas in neighbouring El Altet, especially the night time atmospehere in their superb “barracas’.
On the 9th of October there wil be a powerful fireworks display “mascleta” at aproximately 1pm to commemorate the day of the Valencian region.
In Elche, the XXIII Medival festival will be held from 25th of October to 1st of November with plenty of activities, theatre and music.
There are also local fiestas in Jalon, Polop or pilgrimages like the well-known in Benejuzar “el Pilar” on the 12th.
In Cocentaina the oldest street fair in Valencia Region “Fira de Tots Sants” will take place from 1st to 4th of November.
